I would put less of a focus on Polis and more on Arkadia.
I would give more character development with Pike and Bellamy.
I would make it more explicit that Polis was separating Clarke from her true self.
I would make Bellamy’s struggle more explicit (I saw it but I don’t think the general audience did.)
I would make Clarke’s trials more evidently things she had to conquer to move forward. I think … I don’t know. Clarke got sucked in in Polis, I think that was important, but I think it also confused the audience. We aren’t really used to seeing that kind of seduction as being sinister. I wish they had made it more so.
I would make the dark times of mid season 3A be a bit shorter, and allow us to see some of the hope start to come through. So basically I think I would have made the struggle both shorter and more intense. Less morally gray, just a bit. I know they like the morally gray, but I think it needed to be tightened and exaggerated a bit because a lot of people missed it and a lot of people lost hope.
