why bellamy and clarke shouldn’t be together:

• blaimed clarke for everything that happens at mount weather, physically abused her (the handcuffs) and wanted to hand her out to pike
  
• killed 300 innocent men, women and children who were sent out to protect the camp 
• bellamy is constantly in man pain and blames everyone but himself
• was part of the reason lincoln died (a good friend of clarke)
• bob is a moc but bellamy’s younger self was portrait as a white kid and bellamy was never confirmed to be a poc character (which is absolutely disrespectful towards bob) so your argument that it is an interracial relationship is sadly invalid (until it is confirmed but then you can find SO much better interracial relationships on tv, example: rick and michonne/glenn and maggie from the walking dead)
• would ruin a rare and beautiful friendship between a male and a female character
• they have no original or unique story, it would be just another heterosexual relationship shown on tv
• clarke deserves better than a boy who only thinks about himself, is constantly in man pain and has killed a lot of innocent people and has shown no remorse towards it

Anyways… Bellamy has been far from perfect this season but honestly some of your points are just not true?? physical abuse? blames everyone but himself? i’m sorry did you miss that scene where he literally begged for death because he thought he was a monster who hurt people? or when he let his white sister beat him to a bloody pulp after he found out lincoln died? (in a scene that was unnecessarily graphic bc this show loves to torture all of its poc lol)…he feels responsible and guilty and constantly blames himself for everything all the time. He went through a long redemption arc that your white favs never had to for all the mistakes they made (because the narrative actually holds him accountable for his actions) and now probably will again 

Also.. even though he has done some really horrible things this season and people have a right to be mad at him for all of that, at a certain point you really need to question why bellamy and several other POC where thrown into an OOC xenophobic storyline that was literally compared to 9/11 by jrot while all your white girl favs were written as the rational peacemakers. Then there’s also the fact that you hate bellamy for the things he has done but you still stan for the white characters who have also done horrible things? why do the white characters get a free pass but the poc don’t? 

this is all coming from someone who hates bellarke…(because i hate that princess and knight trope that the bellarke fandom and the show pushes with their dynamic. I don’t like that clarke is portrayed as this white savior while bellamy is a follower when it was clear that they were supposed to be co-leaders.) so it is possible to dislike the ship without using some of these racist arguments lmao

Also to add onto this post, OP how is it that you only want to list bellamy killing 300 innocent people but not list Clarke leaving Octavia behind even though she promised bellamy in s2 that she would protect her, and at the same time let a bomb drop on 250 innocent people that also, didn’t have anything to do with the current situation at hand? It’s so funny to me how you always and forever use the argument against bellarke as a possible couple that bellamy killed 300 people (which in an of itself is a false claim since, lol it was a group of 20 people including Pike and its so funny how you always conveniently forget Indra mentioning Bellamy trying to spare the wounded but the rest of the team killing them off until Bellamy had to beg for Indra to be spared?)

There’s so many reasons to argue agaisnt bellarke as a potential couple but again, your post only focuses on the white girl’s side and never on the MOC that has been officially claimed as such by the writers (and please don’t try to pass this up with some petty bullshit since I’ve had to witness this damn fandom use the writers’ words as God’s law for a whole year, so the least you could do is acknowledge this). Your post only focuses on demeaning and erasing the fact that Bellamy IS an established MOC in the narrative not by his family but because of the fact that he’s just as mistreated as the rest of the non-white cast of this show. He always suffers consequence from his actions by being beaten physically and pushed mentally, while Clarke never even has to feel sorry for what she’s done. All I ever see is this fandom making pigs fly by claiming that Clarke is the most underrated and misused character in the narrative when….lol what? She has more priviledge than any of the non-white characters I’ve ever seen. She gets to experience sexual freedom with the narrative excusing it while Raven has to be slut-shamed both by the writers and her supposed significant other, she gets to murder and be forgiven and understood by the narrative while Bellamy gets everyone turning against him including his own sister, lol Clarke literally left Octavia to die in s2 and didn’t even bother with being honest with her but let’s get Octavia to be more understanding towards clarke in s3a instead of her own brother who literally tried to save Lincoln. 

Why are you like this OP? Why do you purposefully act like the main white character is more mistreated by the narrative and Bellamy when the first time Bellamy is ALLOWED to be angry at clarke for leaving then coming back and acting like her way is best again, for leaving his sister behind, then choosing the side of the grounders, the same people that made them commit genocide in MW, Clarke gets to tazer him, then the whole fandom labels it as an abusive act yet same fandom apparently doesn’t mind Abby slapping Raven then being written in as the person who ‘cares’ about her, to the point where she takes away her job even though it’s probably the only thing that gave Raven meaning. 

Also the whole ‘friendship’ argument is just so old and lowkey racist when you refer to an interracial pairing of any kind. Hey, freely use it for bellarke, whatever, just don’t make a habit of it.
