Bellamy is not superstitious. He’s the first one to roll his eyes at Grounder tradition and rituals and point out how dumb they are (like his excessive mocking of “Wanheda”). But he never once made fun of Clarke for believing Lexa was in the Flame. And he went as far as to trust her to put her life in jeopardy by entering the City of Light because she believed the Flame would protect her. Knowing Bellamy, he didn’t believe in any of that stuff. It was against his nature. But it wasn’t the Chip or the Grounder legends that he placed his faith in – It was Clarke. Because he believes in her.
